Perhaps This Isn't Where I Want to Be

So, there is this guy on Facebook who thinks he is making a huge statement by posting as his status, “People who smoke are completely gross and unattractive.”  Wow, way to be a complete dick, first off.  Secondly, I just want to point out that it is completely wrong to point out a group of people, most importantly the girls I’m assuming he’s aiming the status at (one of which I am assuming is myself), for doing something that normally has a lot longer of a back story than just “smoking because it’s cool.”  You know what, sir?  You are an asshole and a complete hypocrite.  I’m glad that I’m completely unattractive because I smoke and that makes me a bad person.  Congratulations for claiming you’re a role model and leader of a youth group and this wonderful Christian - do you feel better about yourself because you feel like God is with you and you always make all the right decisions?  I bet you were making a great and attractive decision when you texted me drunk driving on your way home.  What a great Christian, right?  Drinking irresponsibly and texting while driving.  At least I’m only endangering myself.  I’m pretty sure that’s a lot more unattractive than my occasional cigarette to curb my stress.

Maybe smoking wasn’t one of my greatest habits to pick up, but whatever.  Ignorant people piss me off.
