Perhaps This Isn't Where I Want to Be

This is a big fuck you to all of you people who say that “us single people need to stop complaining and just be happy for the couples”.  Seriously?  I’m glad that you’re happy that you’re single and that you go around fucking girls and not giving a shit about anybody but yourself.  Valentine’s Day sucks when you don’t have someone you care about, especially when you don’t have someone to do nice things for.  I’m not mad I’m not getting flowers and chocolate and stupid cliche bullshit, I’m upset because I’m going to be alone. 

I’m happy for people who get to have a nice dinner and night with their significant others, but I’m still going to be fucking miserable and alone.  And don’t get me wrong, I understand that you may think it’s my fault that I’m miserable and alone, but I’ve tried - and gotten stomped all over, used, and rejected.  So I’m sorry that I’m going to bitch and hate everyone tomorrow, but sometimes people suck - and Valentine’s Day just makes me remember all of the times in the last year that I’ve been screwed over and used by people that I really cared about.
